Natasha Hawatmeh-Simon, a St. Louis native, was raised with a deep understanding of the value of community, thanks to her upbringing as the daughter of Jordanian immigrants. This strong foundation has driven her career in urban planning, as she seeks to understand and create successful communities across the globe.

Natasha's passion for community development began during her studies at George Washington University in Washington D.C., where she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business and Development. After completing her undergraduate degree, she returned to St. Louis, determined to apply her knowledge and skills to the city's many areas of growth and revitalization.

To further her expertise in urban planning and development, Natasha pursued a Master’s of Science degree at St. Louis University. Her master’s thesis, which explored the availability of housing for refugee and immigrant groups in St. Louis during the federal refugee ban, showcases her dedication to improving the lives of those in her community.

Through her work and personal life, she strives to inspire, educate, and create positive change in her community and beyond.
